Who is Damian Darkness?

I`m Damian, an independent writer and lyricist living in Brighton, UK. I’ve lived in Brighton for most of my life but was born in London. After living in other countries through spells in the Royal Signals and at the Royal Saudi Air Force I moved to South East Asia and ran a cabaret theatre before returning to the UK with the intention of writing musicals.

I was an active man; a soldier in the army and a horticulturalist by trade until 2013 when a stroke forced me to adjust to this more sedentary lifestyle and it was then that I decided to pursue the other of my great passions. Since then, I`ve written a book about the Peter Green impersonation case, called Blues Men I Have Buried, and several musicals, four of which have been performed in Brighton and London, and three of them sold out. The titles of these are:

Running Mate, The Hackers Opera, Sex and Disability, Army Girl.
